Wash and fold (also called fluff and fold) is a professional laundry service where you drop off your clothes and we handle everything- washing, drying, folding, and packaging, so your laundry comes back fresh, clean, and ready to wear.
- What detergents does Long Island Laundry Company use?
Unless special request are made we use Tide Detergent, Downy Fabric Softener, Bounce Dryer Sheets and Clorox Bleach for the whites.
- Do you offer a sensitive skin or fragrance free detergent?
Yes! We offer All Free & Clear Sensitive Skin Detergent. Just simple request that is what you would like us to use.
- I like my laundry done a special way, can I make any special request?
Absolutely! As many as you like, we will follow any personal preferences that you request. Such as-
- Detergent type
- Wash/dry temperatures
- Folding preferences
Just let us know your preferences when you drop off and best of all we don’t have any upcharges. - How do you treat stains?
We do our very best to pre-treat any stains we see while loading your items in the washing machine. If you have any items that you want us to pay special attention to just place those items in a separate bag with a note or attach a note to the item and place at the top of your laundry bag. We are usually very successful at removing stains but depending on the stain and material type of the items we can’t guarantee the stain will come out.
- Can I have certain items put on hangers and not folded?
Yes we can place any items you like on hangers. As always there is no extra charge for this. Just place the items in a separate bag with a note to put on hangers or add a note when placing order online (ex. Place all button down shirts on hangers, hang khakis.
- How much does wash and fold cost?
We charge $1.35 per pound with a $15 minimum order.
Comforters and bulky items are priced separately, starting only at $20.
